What a year 2025 was. This post is totally behind the scenes of my life. Usually I post smiling photos of me and my art. But it was bit of a challenging year. I started with oral surgery on Jan 3rd from a strange phenomenon that caused me to lose a tooth. It basically collapsed from the inside. Because of all the antibiotics they gave me for the surgery, I experienced really bad skin issues. I discovered it was because of all the antibiotics they gave me for the tooth extraction. The antibiotics totally ripped up my gut flora, and hence my skin went cuckoo. But they were also fun times in between. Which is life right? My honey, and I went to Augusta, Georgia for the Masters. Came home and was care-taker during my husband’s recovery from knee surgery. Went on a cruise with my sister in Jan. In September my husband and I went on a fabulous trip to Spain. In between I sought help for my skin and painted a little too, but there certainly wasn’t enough of that. At the end of the year, I also went on a trip to see my honey‘s alma mater play in the Big Ten championship. We had a great time. When I came home, it was time to get my new tooth after a whole entire year of waiting with a hole in front of my mouth that made me feel like a hillbilly. 😫 Oh and I got my skin back to almost normal. How was 2025 for you?

Boerne Visual Artists are putting on a little big show! 🎨
On Saturday, October 11 (during the Rod Run in Boerne, TX) meander over to the Richter Building to see 8x8 works from 35+ local artists. It’s a show & sale event; a great opportunity to see the local talent and take a little piece home!

Next port of call #Barcelona! This is a gorgeous city! Beautiful architecture, friendly people and so clean. The Basilica designed by the famous architect Gaudi is truly a wonder of the world. He designed it in 1 year and its on year 144 of construction. Hopefully done for the 100th year of his death next year. Pictures cannot do it justice. #gaudiarchitecture #familiasagrada
