These aren’t paintings for sale.
They’re my way of getting unstuck.
Tiny doodles. Messy sketches. Ideas that may never become anything at all.
But somewhere between the scribbles and the smudges, motivation usually sneaks back in.
And honestly, I think that’s a little bit magical.

She seemed mildly interested.
She sniffed everything.
Quality control completed.
And then settled in to supervise, as usual.
She rarely critiques my color choices.
She doesn’t care how long a painting takes.
She just quietly keeps me company while I paint. Just warms my heart.
I’m pretty sure every artist needs a Maggie. 🐈🎨🌸

Birds don’t spend much time wondering if they’re enough.
They simply do what they were created to do.
I’ve been trying to learn from that.
Maybe we spend too much time listening to the voice that says, “I can’t.”
And not enough time listening to the quieter voice that says, “Try anyway.”
That’s the kind of reminder I hope finds a home through this painting.#bloomanyway #birdwatching #birdpainting

Creating Art That Makes a Room feel different.
Not because it matches the sofa.
Not because it’s trendy.
But because every time you walk by it, something inside you softens.
Maybe you stand a little taller.
Maybe you remember something beautiful about yourself.
Maybe you stop believing that grumpy little story your mind has been telling you all day.
That’s the spark I hope this painting gives.
Like Tinker Bell tapping you on the shoulder with her little wand and saying,
“Maybe try a different thought.”
Because sometimes one tiny shift is all it takes.
A small interruption.
A gentle nudge.
A reminder that you don’t have to stay stuck in whatever story your mind has been telling you.
Sometimes that’s all it takes to start coming alive again. 🌸💛

But art that interrupts the noise for a moment.
If you’re like me, you can feel the difference.
When I walk into a space that feels beautiful, peaceful, and uplifting, something shifts in my body.
It’s almost like my neurons start firing differently.
Like my whole being lets out a little sigh, aaaahhh and says,
“There you are.”
It’s hard to explain.
But maybe you’re that kind of person too, and you know exactly what I mean.
That’s the kind of art I want to create. 💛#arttheals
